Hallux valgus - conservative and postoperative treatment
ValguLoc II relieves the metatarsophalangeal joint and can help achieve a pain-free movement of the big toe if used in the early stages of hallux valgus (bunion). A long-term progression of the misalignment can be prevented. A multi-dimensional joint holds the toe at a predetermi-ned angle at which extension and flexion are prevented or can be permitted gradually.

ValguLoc supports the aligned position of the big toe after surgery or prevents a misalignment from getting worse. It is used during the night as a postural splint. The functional design guarantees a correct fitting of the orthosis: The correction pressure is continuously adjustable using the Velcro fastening.
ValguLoc works while your foot is resting: The anatomically contoured stabilizing orthosis helps to align your toe and is not suitable for walking. The half-shell construction also offers slight protection against external hazards. On the inside, low-fatigue cushioning increases wearing comfort and protects against pressure points.
