The word ‘yoga’ means ‘to yoke’, referring to the ‘yoking’ together of one’s mind and body, connecting to the breath through focused concentration and movement. Practiced regularly, yoga restores balance between the body and mind.
Psychologically, the practice of yoga promotes awareness, harmony, inner resilience and outer strength. Physically, yoga improves flexibility and muscle tone and strengthens the immune system.
Hannah Lemke is our Certified Yoga Instructor. Using her background in kinesiology, dance and yoga, Hannah creates tailor-made programs for her diverse client base. She works with individuals of all ages and abilities including injury-recovery, athletes, and those looking to take back control over their bodies.
